Ghostwriting is Dead?

Before we get started, I wanted to apologize to you for not showing up last week.

I had a very tight schedule and it made me sick :(

I promise I won’t be missing any Saturday after this.

With that, let's dive into this week’s newsletter.

Recently, I had a conversation with 2 SaaS CEOs, both developed an AI-Writing tool with GPT-4 as its heart.

When they showed their product to me, it almost blew my mind.

It writes like me when I started on LinkedIn.

The tool had the option to change the post’s tone, it’s length and it also tells you shows you the source.

I’ve tried GPT-4 on Bing but this tool is so powerful. It trains itself & shows you improved content every time you use it.

That’s when I thought, “Is Ghostwriting dead?“

  • What if people started to use these apps?

  • What if people love the tool?

I was thinking about these while I was on a call with them.

At the same time, OpenAI launched its updated models.

It made me sick,

  • What if these models beat Ghostwriters?

  • What if these models assist entrepreneurs?

END OF THE WORLD, RIGHT?

→ But that’s where the twist is.

Both the founders were struggling to promote their products.

→ 1 ended up pitching the product to me.

→ Other had a lot of doubt about its functionality.

That’s when I realized, what people need & what they want is totally different.

People may love to have an AI-assisting writing tool. But they don’t actually need it 24×7

There’s nothing wrong in using AI as an assistant, but when you rely on it for 100% that’s where problems arise.

The same concept applies to Ghostwriting. Clients are willing to spend their $$$ on real writers.

So, when tools like this come up don’t panic.

See if you can save time with the tool, and use it as an assistant if needed.

That’s it!

If you love my newsletter, share it with your friends.

Whenever you are ready, here are 2 ways I can help you:
